In the Eyes of a Reiki In the Eyes of a Reiki Practitioner

This post is purely subjective to the experiences I have had using Reiki and being a vessel for this Universal Life Force Energy.

Now, having used Reiki for several years, this beautiful connection to Life Force Energy is a natural extension of my connection with Source, God, the All. The similarities I see are when I experience the pure joy and light flood my body just like a summer day when the sun hits my face and I feel completely connected with God. It is a connection and feeling that deeply resonates within me. In the moments I connect with God and/or tune into Reiki, there is no doubt in my heart how much Truth exists here. This is the "I am". This is being fully present with the world in this single drop of a moment.

The spaces in which I find differences are in the times when I am channeling Reiki for healing. It is then that I disconnect my ego and personal experiences and let the love of Source energy flow. I have never and will never claim to heal anyone or anything because that would completely dishonor the work that is really being done. To put it simply (because it really is simple), I become the vessel. I open up my crown chakra and acknowledge the Reiki energy. I let it flow through my body activating my own cells and chakras to this high frequency. Within seconds, I can begin to feel the energy emitting through my hands and I focus my intentions on what is asking for healing, and I pray that the highest and best good be done for my client.

A little side note, as much as this Source energy is healing my client, my client is also healing themselves by allowing the healing to occur. Because nothing and no one can be healed if they don't want to be healed. This is a universal law - nothing can violate your free will.

So, what is Reiki? It's magical. It's something that you won't completely believe in its magnificence until you experience it. It works intelligently (remember the Source energy part?) to give each person what they need the most whether that be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual healing. It is a reminder how easy we can attain peace but how hard we make it.

Reiki can only do good. Also, be prepared for what healing can mean for you. Sometimes, in order to truly heal you will need to dig some of the things up that have been buried from the past. This is okay and can be done in a very safe way. A reason that I personally, add in extra prayers of intention to only do the highest and best good during my Reiki sessions.

Reiki is a tool. A tool that fits perfectly in my tool belt and that God has given me to share with others. I believe everyone has their own unique tool belts with tools that resonate with them specifically. I'm guessing since you are reading this... that Reiki might be one that resonates with you, too?
